Preprocessor Constants

• RT_STACK_PUSH. If this preprocessor constant is defined, each declaration of an RT++ object checks whether the stack of the current thread has overflown and aborts the program if this is the case. This may be useful for debugging RT++ programs but considerably slows down execution.  
• RT_THREAD_NOTPAR. If this preprocessor constant is defined, the code of each thread is executed when the thread is defined i.e. the program is sequentially executed by a single thread. This may be useful for debugging an RT++ program. Defining this constant may change the termination semantics of a program (if a thread does not terminate).  
• RT_THREAD_NOTLAZY. If this preprocessor constant is defined, the thread definition  

  Thread$n$<R, A$$₁, ..., A$$_n> t(f, a$$₁, ..., a$$_n)

  is equivalent to

  Thread$n$<R, A$$₁, ..., A$$_n> t
  t.start(f$$₁, a$$₁, ..., a$$_n)

• RT_TBAG_NOTPAR. If this preprocessor constant is defined, the code of each bag thread is executed when the bag thread is created i.e. the program is sequentially executed by a single thread. This may be useful for debugging an RT++ program. Defining this constant may change the termination semantics of a program (if a thread does not terminate).  
• RT_TBAG_NOTLAZY. If this preprocessor constant is defined, the following operation for adding a thread to a thread bag  

  ThreadBag$n$<R, A$$₁, ..., A$$_n>(b, f, a$$₁, ..., a$$_n)

  is equivalent to

  ThreadBag$n$<R, A$$₁, ..., A$$_n>::start(b, f, a$$₁, ..., a$$_n)
