CASA Function: properParametrization
Returns a proper parametrization.
Calling Sequence:
- param := properParametrization(A)
Parameters:
- A : algset("para")
- an algebraic set in parametric representation
Result:
- param : list(ratpoly)
- A proper parametrization for the given algebraic set.
Description:
- The function computes a proper parametrization for an algebraic set in parametric representation. A proper parametrization fulfils the condition that the relationship between points on the curve and parameter values is one-to-one (with the exception of finitely many points on the curve).
Examples:
> a:=mkParaAlgSet([1/s^2,s^2],[s]);
> properParametrization(a);
