CASA Function: GoppaPrepareSV

Initializes a Skorobotatov-Vladut error locator.

Calling Sequence:

• SV := GoppaPrepareSV(C)

Parameters:

C : casa/finite/Goppa/primary

• A primary Goppa code.

Result:

SV : function

• An error locator, using the Skorobotatov-Vladut algorithm.

Description:

• Prepares an error locator for the Skorobotatov-Vladut algorithm, for the given primary Goppa code.

Examples:

> C1 := finiteCurve(x^3+y^2+y, finiteField(4));

> H1 := GoppaPrimary(C1, "affine", 4):

> SV := GoppaPrepareSV(H1):

> w := [1 $ H1["n"] ];

> c := GoppaDecode(w, H1, SV);
