In order to apply for access you should

  • check whether you are eligible,
  • compose a proposal,
  • follow the link in the submission section below to submit your proposal and scientific CV. If you are a student, you need also a recommendation letter from your adviser.

Eligibility

To be eligible to benefit from the RISC Transnational Access a person or a group should satisfy the following two conditions:

  1. The person, or, if a group applies, the leader and the majority of group members are employed by institutions within European Community Member States (except Austria) or Associated States, i.e., Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Turkey, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland.
  2. The person and the group should be entitled to disseminate the knowledge they have generated under the project. The sole exception to this rule are user groups from a small or medium-sized enterprize (SME) that wish to use the infrastructure for the first time.
Proposal

The proposal, maximum two pages long, should address applications of symbolic computation in the proposer's research area, should detail the activities that will be undertaken during the access period, and the anticipated scientific benefit. A PDF version of the proposal should be uploaded using the submission page below. Applicants who want to visit RISC: Please indicate the dates of your visit.

Submission

Go to the submission page. You can put the proposal and the CV in one PDF file and upload it from the file field in the submission page. Students can put the recommendation letter in another PDF file and upload it from the attachment field in the submission page.
