Monday, October 7, 1996, 3 PM., at RISC (in the castle).
Both seminars will concentrate on the further development of the CGAL library.
There will be several programming tasks based on the CGAL library as it is now.
The library is written in C++ and makes extensive use of templates.
We foresee further work on non-uniform rational B-splines and other curves
and surfaces, on boolean operations on segments, lines, and polytopes, on
sweeping of arrangements of curves, and on other
subjects in computational geometry (e.g. Voronoi Diagrams, triangulations).
RISC participates in the construction of the Computational Geometry Algorithms
Library (CGAL). More information on the project can be found on the
