Time/Room: Tuesday 8:30 -- 10:00 in K 112 A.
First meeting: 13.03.2012.
Lecture: |
The goal of the course is to understand and use the language of schemes in modern algebraic geometry.
Topics include: Spectra, affine and projective schemes, the role of varieties among schemes, morphisms, modules and divisors. After a brief introduction to cohomology we will proceed to proving the Riemann-Roch theorem.
