Dear participant, in less than one week we will start our 2019 OPSFA meeting, and we are still very excited about this! We would like to distribute some more announcements and information, in order to make your experience as pleasant as possible. Please read it carefully. Taking into account your expected arrival times, we have compiled a schedule for our shuttle, which can be found at https://www3.risc.jku.at/conferences/opsfa2019/docs/Shuttle_OPSFA_arrivals.pdf For example, the first line reads: The shuttle arrives at the train station at 10:00 and leaves it around 10:10 with destination airport (in order to pick up more people, then it goes to Hagenberg). In case of delayed flights or trains, we will try to adapt the schedule as needed. If you need to contact us on Sunday, you can either write an e-mail to opsfa2019@risc.jku.at, or you can call our "emergency" phone number +4368184965076 (or write a text / SMS message). For those who arrive by car, there is sufficient parking space close to the hotel. If you commute to the conference each day by car, you are welcome to use the parking deck of the Fachhochschule, which will be open and free of charge (the entrance is from the main street, opposite of the bakery Honeder). As already mentioned, there is no WiFi in the hotel, only internet by cable. Of course, we provide WiFi at the conference site: in the printed conference booklet you will find an access code for the local WiFi, but also the eduroam network is available. All lecture rooms are equipped with a projector and a blackboard. If you plan to give a presentation using electronic slides, please use your own computer or discuss with your session chair (i.e., your mini-symposium organizer), whether he/she provides a laptop for the presentations. You may want to take a few minutes during a coffee break to test the connection between your computer and the projector in the respective room. Don't forget to bring an adapter in case you have an "exotic" computer... The mini-symposium organizers are expected to chair their sessions. Please stick strictly to the schedule, so that the attendees can smoothly switch between different sessions. Contributed talks are supposed to start at 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, and at 15:30, 16:00, 16:30, 17:00 sharp. Please allow a few minutes for changing of speakers. Lunches and coffee will be provided in the same building and on the same floor as the lectures. For those who stay in the hotel in Hagenberg, the breakfast will be served in the same building (FH2), but one level higher in the "Campina". The conference menu can be found here: https://www3.risc.jku.at/conferences/opsfa2019/docs/Menu.pdf If you are still reading, here comes a reminder concerning the open problem session: if you would like to present something, please contact Kathy Driver ( kathy.driver@uct.ac.za ). We are looking forward to see you at the welcome reception on Sunday, starting at 19:00 in the Gemeindesaal (= common hall) of the castle of Hagenberg! Best wishes, Christoph Koutschan and Peter Paule (Organizing Committee)
