Dear participant, in less than two weeks we will start our 2019 OPSFA meeting, and we are already very excited about this! We would like to distribute some announcements and information, in order to make your experience as pleasant as possible. After a few last-minute cancellations of contributed talks, we had to make some (minor) adjustments in the program. The updated schedule can be found on the webpage https://www3.risc.jku.at/conferences/opsfa2019/index.php?content=schedule so you may want to check the date and time of your talk. The schedule, together with the abstracts of all talks and posters, and the list of participants, can also be found in the book of abstracts, which is available as a pdf on the conference website: https://www3.risc.jku.at/conferences/opsfa2019/docs/OPSFA2019_Program.pdf (make sure that your pdf viewer supports hyperlinks so that you can navigate conveniently through the document). Please let me know if your data appears incorrectly in the program. On Sunday, July 21, there will be a welcome reception, starting at 19:00 in the evening. Snacks and drinks are provided. At this occasion you can also pick up your conference bag. Please note that the welcome reception takes place at a different location (in the castle of Hagenberg) than the rest of the conference (Fachhochschule Hagenberg), both of which are in walking distance from the hotel. More info about this and other social activities can be found at the bottom of the page https://www3.risc.jku.at/conferences/opsfa2019/index.php?content=program We will have an open problem session on Tuesday 17:30 (after the contributed talks). Kathy Driver was so kind to take over the responsibility for this session. So if you would like to pose an open problem to your peers, please contact her directly: kathy.driver@uct.ac.za Please note that the hotel rooms in Hagenberg do not have WIFI (wireless internet connection). Instead, each room is equipped with an ethernet cable to provide internet access. WIFI will only be available in the meeting rooms during the day. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. While the hotel of course accepts payment by card, this is not necessarily the case in all local restaurants in Hagenberg. So please make sure that you bring some cash money (but also ATMs are available). We are compiling a schedule for our shuttle bus between airport, train station and Hagenberg. If you would like to use it and have *not* yet told us your arrival time, please do so as soon as possible. Next week we will send out the schedule and more details about this complimentary service. We are looking forward to welcome you in Hagenberg, Austria! Best wishes, Christoph Koutschan and Peter Paule (Organizing Committee)
